Very Solid. Just got Century XXL Wavemaster about a month ago and so far I am pleased. It is a very large sturdy bag and has been able to take any punch or kick that I have thrown at it. I was looking for something to use mostly for stomp heel and toe kicks, Century Wavemaster XXL is perfect, my Bob XL would fall down with these kicks, but Century XXL Wavemaster is more bottom heavy and will only tip over if all the sand moves to one side, and even with that it barely tips over. Wavemaster XXL Review By David - I used to work out at a cardio kickboxing gym. It was a lot of fun to pound and kick the bags. What I didn't like was that the classes would often have us "partner up" with a stranger to do some weird pushups or whatever. Sorry, but I get pretty disgusting sweaty when I'm working out and I'm not real comfortable getting personal with somebody else when they're disgusting sweaty too. So I stopped going.
I have been missing the release of pounding out my neuroses though. So I finally bit the bullet and got one of these bags. I live in a condo building and there's no way I could use it in my place without disturbing all the neighbors, so I put the Century XXL Wavemaster down in the garage with our little storage area. The bag is tucked away when I'm not using it and then roll it out to whale on it for a while. Also got one of those rubber mats for under exercise bikes, which keeps the bag from moving around too much.
I'm no pro, but I know the basics of punching and kicking so I don't hurt myself. (Although I did slip when doing a sidekick last weekend and really cranked my big toe on the Century Wavemaster XXL heartily recommend against doing that because it's still sore and puffy.) Overall Century XXL Wavemaster works for my needs. There is some movement when you're really going at it, but I think that's a benefit so I get some extra work moving around the bag trying to keep it on the mat.
