I teach MMA and Muay Thai and Century Wavemaster XXL is great. It is mobile and doesn't take up valuable grappling space. Just roll it out when you are training the striking drills and roll it off the mats when you are done. I filled the base with sand and it has not tipped over yet, and I have used it a lot. I would definitely recommend Century Wavemaster Punching Bag.

Purchased Century Wavemaster Punching Bag for a workplace training room (one of my co-workers has had one in home for the past year and recommend the Century Wavemaster Punching Bag for a work trainer). It arrives in two large boxes via trucking company. The base in one and the bag in the other. After reading other reviews, I filled our base with sand. I used a traffic cone and living in MN was able to get a few cheap "tube" sand bags that go in the back of trucks for winter weight/traction. Using a upside down traffic cone as a funnel it easily took four 60 pound bags of sand. Only drawback was the grade of sand produced dust, would maybe have done sandbox sand had I known. Anyways, after reading some reviewers talk about taking hours to fill, ours only took about 15 minutes (needed another ten for dust clean-up though)

Once filled the top screws in easliy and it is ready to use. It rolls into place quite nicely and takes hits well. I am 6'3" 210 and have no trouble punching the bag nor feel it is to short for my height. With 240 pounds in the base it doesn't move much, but will slide a little depending on the type of floor you have it placed on. We are using ours next to a battling rope and it is a nice combo to get the heart rate up, fatigue the upper body, and work on striking techniques.

I have Century Wavemaster Punching Bag in my finished basement which has a plaster ceiling and no exposed beams or I would have got a hanging heavy bag. However, this works really well for what I need it for, working out with punch/kick drills. It is on a berber carpeted floor, and it does move around a little bit but not enough to be annoying. I grab Century Wavemaster Punching Bag and pretend I am in a clinch and move it back into position as part of the workout. I had heard of people filling it with water after filling it with sand to add extra weight, but in the manual it gives a weight max that I don't want to exceed. I hear/read about people breaking the center support at the base and am wondering if that happens because they have the base filled with too much weight. For now I am going to leave it as is. It works great for what I need.

I ended up filling it with 250 pounds of sand out in my garage with the door open, which was a good idea since a lot of dust was created when getting the sand into the base (I definitely would not even think about trying to fill this in your house.) After filling it, I had some trouble getting it through the door to move and the door was up a step (I suggest having at least one other person help you get it inside after it is filled.)
